Welcome to the official site for the Welsh arm of the Wado International Karate-Do Federation (WIKF). We are a small set of clubs that provide traditional training in a Japanese Style of Karate called Wado Ryu.

WIKF (Wales) Students of the year The student of the year award allow our instructors to recognise those individuals who have made real personal progress through the year and have shown the correct attitude and spirit to their martial arts training. The award was split for each club with one overall winner as the WIKF (Wales) Student of the Year.

Children's Christmas Party 2011The 18th of December saw the WIKF (Wales) childrens Christmas party in PlayZone Swansea. It was a great evening with an opportunity for everyone to spend some social time together outside the dojo; parents and children alike.
Check out the pictures from this years party WIKF Wales Summer CourseSaturday 20th August saw over 30 students from WIKF (Wales) attend the annual summer course. This years venue was Clyne Farm, Swansea and the day started with Karate and Ju Jitsu training followed by an introduction to self defence for the parents. After lunch it was time for the challenge valley assault course! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and we finished off (after getting cleaned up) with a BBQ.
